Ereka’s Story

My trip to South Africa was such a joy and an experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Our day-to-day activities, which included lots of prayer, fellowship, and other activities were so exhilarating! I was introduced to a new culture of delicious foods, fun games, and such rhythmic dancing & singing! The people had such warm & welcoming smiles and exemplified boundless gratitude!

This was such a humbling experience...being in the presence of a people who have a total appreciation for life itself, rather than things that life has to offer them.
I thank God for the spirit of servitude and this compelling missionary opportunity.
This experience has forever impacted my life for the greater good of others. It reminds me of our greatest commandments which is to first love the Lord with all of thy heart and to love thy neighbor as thyself (Mark 12:29-31).
